Technology Consultation

Technology is an essential tool for your practice, but deciding how to utilize it can be overwhelming. There are thousands of apps and services for processing paperwork, billing, collecting payments, marketing, and communication with clients. Caution is needed, as many of them are not HIPAA compliant.

Are you wasting valuable time and energy researching options? We can narrow down your choices and make recommendations.

During our meeting we’ll discuss a number of options to consider, including:

  • Going paperless - should I offer online forms? Which options are secure?

  • Using social media - how to adopt it for your practice, best practices to keep your personal accounts separate and private, and tips to create your own social media policy

  • Email and texting - the pros & cons, boundaries, and implementing an electronic communications policy

  • Collecting payment electronically - you’ll learn which options are HIPAA and PCI compliant.

  • Google and people search websites - a vulnerability you probably aren’t addressing
